The DH, Social Care and Public Health Transition Board met on the 25 June 2012 and discussed the following:

  • Local Government Stocktake
  • Transition Costs (including HR Tracker)

1 Introduction

The Chair of the DH, Social Care and Public Health Transition Board asked all Board members to review minutes to ensure they are an accurate reflection of the previous meeting.

2 Programme Overview

The Transition Director presented an overview of the programme to the Board. The update included a summary of programme status and progress, as well as a discussion on governance.

3 Local Government Stocktake

The SRO for Local Government, Health & Well Being Boards and Healthwatch presented the Local Government Stocktake to the Board. Issues discussed included progress with setting up shadow Health & Wellbeing Boards, describing the role of Healthwatch and public health allocations.

4 Transition Costs (including HR Tracker)

The SRO for Finance provided an update to the Board on Transition Costs. The update included a discussion on redundancy costs and non-redundancy costs. 
HR Transition Programme Director updated the Board on the HR Tracker. The Chair would like to discuss the HR Tracker at a future DH, Social Care and Public Health Transition Board meeting.

5 Next Meeting

The next meeting will be held on Tuesday 17 July in RH Boardroom, 15:30-17:30.
